Hi, Ean High

Hello, Portfolio

A bit about

Ean High is an artist living in Durham, North Carolina, USA. He has also called Chicago, Atlanta, Washington, D.C., Indianapolis, and Martin, Tennessee home.

His studio is very small and he shares it with someone else’s floor loom, but the light is nice and there is a view of the garden.

Ean’s writing and research have been supported by the Phillips Library of the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, Massachusetts, Haverford College Libraries, the Institute for Citizens & Scholars and the Charlotte Newcombe Foundation. His writing for adults has been published by Johns Hopkins University Press and Liverpool University Press. His sidewalk art has been featured at the Tennessee SoyBean Festival and several Chicago playgrounds.

His current project is a chapter book for children. He is writing it and drawing the pictures, very slowly.
